Ubuntu 10.10 Arrived

Latest version of Ubuntu 10.10 released stable version today. Canonical Ltd, the company that maintains the world’s most popular Linux distribution  officially announced arrival. New Ubuntu. 10.10 represents October 2010, while the last release (version 10.04) was in April 2010. In the first screen that you see after the welcome message, Ubuntu will check whether your system meets the minimum requirements for Ubuntu 10.10. It will mainly check the available disk space, your power source, and the Internet connectivity. They will also ask you whether you want to download and install third party software or updates during the installation.

Ubuntu brings several changes like new wallpapers, an improved theme, a new installer, and the powerful Shotwell photo organizer and editor. Latest Ubuntu 10.10 contain Indian rupee symbol. It is the first operating systems containing India rupee symbol.
